Simply Sweet continues to grow!
Simply Sweet was Snohomish’s FIRST cupcake shop and has been serving Snohomish and surrounding communities since 2009! Our offerings have since expanded to include wedding and custom cakes, hand decorated sugar cookies, cake pops, and French macarons in addition to cupcakes. Now a member of the Climate Pledge Collective (home of the Seattle Kraken and Seattle Storm!), we are excited to continue to grow our operation!
Ideal candidates are organized, self starting, detail oriented, and thrive in a team environment. All applicants must be 18 or older, have reliable transportation, and be able to obtain a WA Food Worker Card within 30 days of hire. Pay is dependent on experience.
Cake Decorator
We’re excited to add another talented team member to our cake decorating department! Strong candidates are punctual, organized self starters who work with an owner’s mentality and who thrive in a team environment. At least two years experience in a professional cake decorating capacity is preferred but not required. Experience with buttercream, fondant and tiered cakes and a definite plus!
Full time (30-40 hours/week), Wednesday-Sunday. Competitive pay + tip pool. Salary dependent upon experience.
Job Duties Include: Leveling, filling and crumb coating cake tiers, cake decorating, creating fondant cake decor, offering stellar customer service, washing dishes, light cleaning and other upkeep tasks around the shop.

Cookie Decorator
Excellent candidates have a keen eye for detail, are organized, and exhibit a self starter mentality. We thrive in a team environment and count on everyone doing their part for the team to succeed. We’d love to see experience in buttercream decorating but experience doing any of a number of things that include fine detail work with the hands (drawing, painting, henna, etc.) is valuable and welcome!
Part time: (20-30 hours/week), Flexible & weekend availability. Salary dependent on experience + tip pool.
We’re bolstering our cookie team in anticipation of a busy holiday and Kraken season! This is a support position that includes baking and assisting in decorating cookies for shop and custom orders, assembling holiday decorating kits, making boxes, and light cleaning responsibilities (dishes, sweeping, mopping, etc.).
